Exciting progress is underway at our Albany build site! The framing, plumbing, and roofing on the ten Orange Street houses are complete, and we are currently working on pre-insulation, painting, and siding. With every brushstroke and nail, these houses are coming to life—thanks to the incredible teamwork of our staff, contractors, volunteers, and homebuyers working together to make dreams a reality. |

We’re thrilled to have an additional eight new houses in pre-development, including four on Park Avenue in Troy and four on Albany Street in Albany. Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to get involved! |

"Ordinary people can do extraordinary things. Over the years, I’ve witnessed this truth time and time again. In today’s world, it’s a reminder we need more than ever." – President Jimmy Carter, from his foreword to Our Better Angels by Jonathan Reckford.
In honor of President Carter’s legacy, we’re kicking off our first Habitat for Humanity Book Club this February! Join us as we explore the values of service, love, and community that shaped his remarkable legacy.
"This book is full of the transformative stories that we’ve seen again and again in our more than thirty-five years of building with them (Habitat for Humanity) around the world." |
