Come celebrate the completion of 6 new Habitat for Humanity homes in the Capital District!
The gathering will commence at 4 pm, offering a tour of one of the new houses and a chance to mingle with fellow guests. Join us for a happy hour following the event where you can learn more about Habitat and getting involved.
This achievement marks the completion of 170 homes by Habitat in the Capital District since our founding in 1988. Learn more about these homes.

EVENT DETAILS
The event will take place in front of 824/826 Manning Blvd.
Street parking is available on Manning Blvd, Livingston Avenue and nearby streets.
CDTA Routes 100 and 106 will drop you off just two blocks away, at the corner of North Pearl and Livingston Avenue, by the Capital Repertory Theatre.
4pm - Brief remarks from Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Christine Schudde, City of Albany Treasurer Darius Shahinfar, Albany Housing Authority Executive Director Chiquita D’Arbeau, Albany Community Land Trust President Aprecia “Preem” Cabey and a Habitat homebuyer.
4:30pm - Immediately following, guests are invited to tour a home
5pm - Happy hour at Albany Distilling Company (75 Livingston Avenue). Walk around the corner with us! Enjoy a casual happy hour with cash bar and find out how you can get involved with Habitat.
WEATHER UPDATE
Two of the houses will be open to guests (824 and 826 Manning Blvd) and air conditioned thanks to their high-efficiency air source heat pumps! Guests are welcome to go inside at any point before, during or after the brief program to cool off. We will also have water, popsicles and snacks. If it rains or thunders, the event will move inside.
